October Updates:
- Other Resources – Further development of this webpage to include other websites and a Help Article on ‘How to take Photos of a Headstone’
- Cemetery Index – Reconnected over 2,500 Images with the Cemetery Details Page.
- Specialized Indexes – Developed specialized indexes such as Memorial/Cenotaph & Overseas Headstones. We are working on a Veterens Index as well and we look forward to releasing it the first week of October.
- Cemetery Selection – Resolved an issue in concern to the selection of cemeteries for the submitter. This makes the process of headstone submission quicker.
- Headstone Submission – Added two additional dropdowns to specify if the Headstone belongs to a Veteran or it is a Memorial/Cenotaph.
- Headstone Submission – Hide the Submitters Name, ID and Email Address as it was read only and not required for the user to review.
- Image Lightbox – Continued work in Lightbox to allow images to open in same browser tab instead of opening a new tab. This is currently work on the More Details Page.
- Accessiblity Button – Top right corner of the website where you will find assistance accessing the website.
- Other Updates – Continued updates and modifications to support our users and submitters.
So far in 2021, we have added 13,421 Persons and 5,990 Headstones!! Remember, if you don’t have photos to submit, we have lots that require transcribing that others are submitting. Please Volunteer, we will always be free.
